Abstract

The hypothesis on which the work is based is that the instability connected with contemporary processes presupposes the need for a strategy that elaborates from time to time what the scenario proposes, proceeding with continuous operational feedback that involves all the active connections in a synchronous way. Moreover, the impossibility of keeping the information (data collection) - ideation (processing) -realization times perfectly coinciding with those of continuous and accelerated contemporary modification, raises the need to introject the temporal variable within the design process as prince material of product elaboration, thus inverting the usual time-space-place relationships. The two hypotheses produced investigate two possible declinations of the TIME factor (EVENT AND DURATION), proposing a methodological investigation capable of becoming a dynamic tool for controlling contemporary territories
